Nasrin Sotoudeh Ends Hunger Strike After 49 Days

Iranian human rights attorney, Nasrin Sotoudeh, has ended her hunger strike at Evin Prison after 49 days. Sotoudeh, who is serving a six year sentence for “spreading propaganda against the government and acting against national security,” was protesting her 12-year-old daughter Mehrave being banned from leaving the country. The Iranian judiciary agreed to drop the travel ban Tuesday. Read the full story here.
