Thanks to the creator and talents at IranMozaik.com for forwarding this along. From the “Iran Mozaik” Project (http://iranmozaik.com/) (See the video project below)

“Iran Mozaik” is  a dynamic web project (Net-Art) showing the current face of Iran according to the situation of the popular protest since June 2009 and the videos we receive through YouTube. After each major event (like 22Bahman, Ashura, etc) the map of Iran will take the shape of that event, automatically displaying all the videos related to that event. As long as the struggle continues and fearless “citizen journalists” continue to send videos, this map will continue to be “alive”. Hope is one day it will freeze forever, not because we won’t receive anymore images from Iran, but because the struggle of the people of Iran will be victorius. Seven months after creating the Iran Mozaik Project, it has been screened in Paris, Toronto, Vienna, and several other cities. From the beginning, I’ve always had the strong belief that the current struggle in Iran is a long term one and it may even last several years to become an achievement of freedom not only for Iranians. That is why from the start of this project, I had in mind to transform it into a dynamic online map, which will “live” on its own and like a mirror, show the current face of Iran. Iranmozaik.com displays a map of Iran which is automatically updated by the latest videos of the protests from Iran, sent by fearless “citizen journalists”.  After each major event (like 22Bahman, Ashura, etc) the map will take the shape of that event. This map will continue to live on its own as long as the struggle continues and we receive new images. [Learn More]
