Delegates and representatives of Human Rights asked the Dominican Republic to vote in favor of the resolution that will be announced next Monday at the Third Committee of the United Nations (UN). The resolution seeking to improve human rights in Iran was submitted by Canada and is being carried out for two years. In the first ballot Dominican Republic voted in favor, while the following year it abstained.
