Last weekend, our enthusiastic team entered the streets of Amsterdam to promote the event. Our adventure started at the famous Albert Kuyp Market, where we received many positive reactions and remarks. A shopkeeper even gave us a green shawl, which we put around the statue of a famous Dutch folk singer, Andre Hazes, in support of the event!

We then proceeded to the Amsterdam flower market, where our flyers found their way into many different hands (and boats).

On the centrally located Dam Square, we won over a huge group of visitors from Spain, as well as street performers, Batman and the infamous Darth Vader to support our cause. People relaxing in canal boats, riding their bikes and enjoying their coffees on the sunny terraces all held up the banner in solidarity with Iranians. All in all, we had a good day in which we where once again strengthened in our belief that solidarity is the key to human rights and peace.
