On 25 Bahman (February 14), Iranian activists held a day of protest in several cities across the country. Together with many human rights activists around the world, the Green Student Movement of Vancouver organized a demonstration at the Vancouver Public Library on Sunday. The demonstrations were held to show support for the Iranian peoples’ peaceful movement and to commemorate and remember the two students (Mohammad Mokhtari and Sane Jaleh) who were killed during Iran’s February 14 demonstrations.

جنبش سبز دانشجویی ونکوور، در حرکتی هماهنگ و همراه با مردم ایران و بسیاری از فعالان حقوق بشر و آزادیخواهان در سرتاسر دنیا، تظاهراتی در حمایت از حرکت صلح آمیز مردم ایران و بزرگداشت دو دانشجوی شهید (محمد مختاری، صانع ژاله) برگزار خواهد نمود. از این رو، روز یکم اسفند (۲۰ فوریه) مقابل کتابخانه مرکزی ونکوور (خیابان جورجیا) گرد هم آمده و بار دیگر فریاد مظلومیت مردم ایران را به گوش جهانیان می رسانیم.
