• Participating can be as simple as printing out a poster (see our Toolkits & Downloads for some) and taking a picture or recording a video message with the poster. Send it to share@united4iran.org to be shared on 12.12!
• If words are your preferred medium, consider joining “…using the proven power of writing letters… to pressure authorities to release those who have been unjustly imprisoned and to stop the torture and abuse of others.” Write a letter, submit to AI, and Amnesty’s International “Write for Rights: A Global Write-a-thon!” then send us a copy to be posted on 12/12!
• Contribute to Flowers4Iran (read more here).
• Have an event at your house, a nearby café, a church, mosque, school, town square, or park!
• Hold an open mic and do readings from your favorite poems and books (or write your own to share!), share music, performances, or art celebrating the civil rights movement in Iran. Take pictures, record it, and send it in!
• Organize a movie showing or film screening for your friends or the public. Let us know how it goes!
• Create a piece of art, write an op-ed, record an interpretive dance, and send us your work (or pictures and video of it).
