United4Iran Sponsorship Guidelines | فارسی

Below are the guidelines for any event(s) to be sponsored by United4Iran (U4I).

We take tremendous care to ensure our collective efforts remain peaceful and aligned with U4I’s mission and values. We take our work, credibility and the trust within the community very seriously. We protect our collective work so we need to be aware how and when our name is used.

It is an honor to be part of a collaborative global community working to support human and civil rights in Iran. We appreciate your tireless efforts.

For U4I-sponsored events, we can act as a resource by:

  • Lend the U4I name, logo and materials to online and printed material of sponsored events; Distribute information regarding your planned event(s) to our e-mail mailing list;
  • Promote the event, its coverage and footage through the U4I’s website, Facebook, and Twitter;
  • Provide the following: demands, messaging and goals for sponsored and globally coordinated events; promotional material, fliers, posters, t-shirt designs, press release samples, toolkits, etc.
  • Provide press talking points, toolkits, contacts to promote your event and aid in media & press opportunities

Sponsorship Guidelines:

  • United4Iran (U4I) is a non-partisan global network that works to support the human and civil rights efforts of the people of Iran. We do not take any positions or issues to the contrary. For example, we do not support any particular candidate or political party and are against military intervention as well as economic sanctions. Therefore we cannot sponsor or ally ourselves in any way with events or activities that focus on items outside the defense of human and civil rights of the people of Iran.
  • United4Iran does not associate itself with any event that plans or promotes violence, even activities that are incidental to the main focus of the event. These include vandalism, throwing objects, slogans, conflict with other groups/individuals, or authorities.

Sponsorship Process:

  • To have your event sponsored by U4I, please fill out the form below with event location/time/date, contact e-mail and name, and organization information. In your e-mail, please indicate agreement with event sponsorship guidelines and conditions. By indicating agreement, the event host is agreeing to the terms and conditions listed on this page.
  • The sponsorship agreement will be sent via e-mail from a U4I team member and from a U4I (“name”@united4iran.org) account. Please do not use our name as a sponsor without explicit written permission from the domain name United4Iran.

Please Note:

  • ***The terms United4Iran and U4I refer to the coordinating body and not any specific local group. Please note that a number of local groups have some or part of “United4Iran” in their name. United4Iran cannot agree to local groups sponsoring event(s); only the local group can make that decision. Also local groups may only sponsor your event(s) locally. ***
  • In order to promote your event(s), we will need pictures, videos, written materials along with a short event summary. Please forward this information as soon as possible to share@united4iran.org. You have worked hard to organize your event. Please help us to assist in ensuring the people of Iran and the general public will know. If you have organized lectures, panels, etc., please send us links to the footage and we will add it to our resource library.
  • We post many events on our event calendar. However, to indicate that we are sponsoring your event, the above steps must take place and written agreement issued. .
  • Please note that sponsorship is for event(s) only, unless a partnership has been discussed in advance and agreed-upon explicitly in writing.
