Spotlight on: Baha’is, Women, Labor, and Human Rights Defenders
Amnesty International’s Human Rights Day event is on Saturday, December 10, 2011. The focus will be human rights in Iran and will feature noted journalist Nazila Fathi, who reported on Iran for the New York Times for several years. Organizers will also be presenting the film “Education Under Fire” about the persecution of Iran’s Baha’i community. This film has garnered much media attention. The event will be from 1 to 4 pm and is free to the public.
